Farm Walks

Walking on Dartmoor is excellent and from Brimpts we offer a number of planned routes.  Self-guide leaflets are available from the Farmhouse where all the planned walks start.

The Pond walk is a relaxing stroll weaving through the wild-life frequented pools in the fields close to the Farmhouse. This walk is no more than a 20 minute excursion and access is suitable for wheel chairs.

If you are after a bit more of a challenge, the Biodiversity Trail is about one and half hours long and is ideal for all the family and the Tin Mine Walk is a good half day excursion.

If you do decide to walk on the Moor, be prepared for rapidly changing weather conditions, wear and carry the correct footwear, use stiles and gates to cross boundaries and if you have a dog, please keep it under control.

Andy has a wealth of local knowledge and leads guided walks for schools, higher education and special interest groups.  He also offers Farm Tours in the Landrover for a maximum of 8 guests at a time.  Please contact us and ask Andy for further information and book your guided walks and tours in advance.

Thank you for hosting a visit for our students last week.  The talk you gave them certainly held their attention and they were all impressed how successful your diversification has been.
