Both independent travellers and groups favour our tastefully restored and converted granite barns offering high standards of traditional comfort.
The en-suite rooms (one room is suitable for wheel chair users) can comfortably accommodate up to 20 people. If however you are prepared to bunk up to save pennies, the barn has been known to sleep up to forty people! The original Haystore provides guests with an additional living & dining space with fantastic views of Yar Tor. An outstanding suite for large groups or family gatherings, the room is furnished with sofas, tables, chairs and a wood-burning stove. The Haystore is a dynamic space, used on a regular basis for a variety of functions including wedding receptions, general knees-ups, meditation and yoga sessions, literary and art appreciation groups and much more. A fully equipped commercial kitchen suited to large self-catering groups backs onto the function area. Other facilities include a children's play area, the sauna, hot-tub and sun deck, a drying room and an out-door terrace with chairs, tables and a BBQ. We can also provide evening meals for large groups. Our food is traditional farmhouse-fayre made from fresh local ingredients. Guests are welcome to make use of the tea rooms during the summer.
